SWAG - Strong Women and Guns is for experienced shooters. Join us on the 3rd Thursday of every month. We are a group of women who regularly meet for the purpose of firearms education, training on the range with NRA Certified Instructors and social interaction. You do not need to be a member of Apple Valley Gun Club. All of our classes and Events are open to the Public. This event is for EXPERIENCED SHOOTERS - NOT FOR BEGINNERS.We meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month at AVGC on the Pistol Range from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. You must be on time to attend the Range Safety Briefing. If you do not attend the Range Safety Briefing you will not be able to shoot. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND AND SPACES ARE LIMITED. This always sells out very quick. If you want to reserve your space, REGISTER NOW. Bring: Your firearmAt least 200 rounds of factory new ammunition (no reloads or steel core)Your eye & ear protectionWe supply the targetsClosed toe shoes and a high collared shirt are required. No open or scoop neck tops, tank tops or polo shirts are allowed. Bring a hat.****** PLEASE leave your Firearm secured in a locked container in your locked vehicle until instructed to retrieve it.A "locked container" is a secure container that is fully enclosed and locked by a padlock, key lock, combination lock, or similar locking device.
