New York may be getting a mayor who is not a total idiot. Eric Adams, Democrat candidate for New York Mayor, calls for more handgun regulation. He says the focus on 'assault rifles is 'Misplaced' And he's RIGHT !!!! For the first time in a long time, a Democrat has said something smart about gun control !! New York City's Democratic mayoral candidate Eric Adams believes legislation focused on assault riffles is not a solution to rising crime in U.S. cities and he is absolutely correct. Assault rifles make up about 1% of all shooting deaths. Handguns make up the vast majority, especially in the inner cities. They should bring back Rudy Giuliani's practice of stop and frisk, every time cops see thugs hanging out on the streets. IT WORKS. Unfortunately, 'stop and frisk' worked SO WELL, Democrats started calling it RACIST. Of course, as soon as people called it 'racist' to arrest people with illegal guns, New York's weak leadership stopped the practice. Here's a FACT that cannot be denied: When states allow more people to carry a gun, violent crime rates go down. Every. Single. Time. Amazing, isn't it ??
