Description

Nobody here even has $100,000 in the bank. Let's say your candidate did not win the election that you were told he was supposed to win, even though he was trailing in polls in nearly almost every State. Do you question the validity of the election? And how many times? 10, 100, 10,000, a million? And in the end, who won, and will remain the winner? fu·tile /ˈfyo͞odl,ˈfyo͞odīl/ adjective adjective: futile incapable of producing any useful result; pointless. "a futile attempt to keep fans from mounting the stage" Similar: fruitless vain pointless useless worthless ineffectual ineffective inefficacious to no effect of no use in vain to no avail unavailing unsuccessful failed thwarted unproductive barren unprofitable abortive impotent hollow empty forlorn idle sterile nugatory valueless hopeless doomed lost no good to gundy bootless Opposite: useful fruitful Origin mid 16th century: from Latin futilis ‘leaky, futile’, apparently from fundere ‘pour’.
