Beautiful Dolores looking for a Forever Family

Hi. My name is Dolores. I was rescued from the middle of the highway in Hot Springs by a woman visiting the US from Germany. She could not take me with her so she asked Karen to care for me and find me a forever home. I lived in a big farm out in the country with my pal Zippy, then in the city where Karen took me on walks and I enjoyed my big back yard. I am good with children and am learning not to jump up. With patience and proper introduction I can play with other dogs, but I need a little time. I have a warm, friendly, confident and easy going personality. I must be around 4 years old. When my people are home with me all day, I am calm and like to nap in the house and play outside in the yard. When my people leave me alone all day in the fence, I like to escape and chase squirrels. Sometimes I think cats are squirrels and chase them too. I recently had beautiful puppies and will go to be spayed this week. I am looking for someone who will enjoy my love and include me in their day. I have a small rehoming free to be sure my new home can safely afford my care.
