Description
IS the bottom line.... MONEY.
More specifically, TAXES
Big Tech, Twitter, Facebook, and all the rest promised the IRS that they would provide free and fair opportunity for EVERYONE to speak on their platforms. No matter what your opinion, or political status, you should theoretically be allowed to post or say whatever you want to on these social media platforms, without fear of being "cancelled", or thrown in 'jail', or have your account 'suspended', simply for voicing your opinion.
In return for a 'free and fair social media', the IRS agreed to give these social media companies HUGE TAX BREAKS.
All these social media websites have FAILED to follow through with their obligations and promises.
These companies have obviously been picking and choosing who can post on their websites and what kind of content they allow.
Now, I'm OK with that, they can pick and choose all they want. Conservatives can just voice their opinions somewhere else.
However, I have a huge problem with TAXES NOT BEING PAID by these huge corporations.
I am not going to say Twitter and Facebook must allow conservative opinions.
What I will say is, these people have violated their agreement with the IRS, and the tax breaks they have been getting should be cancelled.
Not only that, the IRS should go back to the first time a conservative voice was silenced, and tax them back to that point retroactively.
