This is very heartbreaking but we have decided to give up our ducks. We have all grown so attached to them but they need more space to roam than we can give them. They were all raised together since about 2 weeks of age. Except for the big male Pekin. He is a couple months older as our first group of ducks was taken off by stray dogs. We have taken every step to keep out all of the strays in the neighborhood but I feel they are still not safe. They have also started escaping to wonder off as well. They come home but I'm afraid something is going to get them. I am really wanting them to all go to a very loving home where they will continue to get human contact every day. They all have their own unique personalities and are going to be hard to see go but I think it's best for them.
