Old, mixed-large breed dog in need of a new home

My boy, Onyx, is an 8 year old who is needs a new home to live out his remaining years. I adopted him 2 years ago and have really loved bringing out his personality. When I adopted him he was overweight, dirty, neglected and would never make a sound. Obviously living for 6 years, at the time and going to be a part of a new family is strange and I never knew what he went through before us but I can honestly say he is one of the sweetest, most well mannered animals I have ever experienced. I truly want to keep him but it is just not an option since we will be moving from here. In the 2 years we had him he has barked maybe 3-4 times. He just sleeps and loves to be close. He is completely fine off of the leash (at least with me) and has really never given me any trouble. I just want to ensure he goes to a loving individual or group of people, because before I got him I am certain his life was pretty bad. He is so sweet and deserves to enjoy the remainder of his life in a loving, peaceful setting. I just want a small rehoming fee to ensure the recipient is legitimate. Food/container and any accessories we have will come with Onyx.
