Description

We have a beautiful just turned 2 year old Red Australian Shepherd with a Seizure Disorder that needs to be rehomed. His name is Roscoe. He began having seizures (very common amongst this breed we've learned) right after his first birthday. We have tried very hard to give him a good home. However, we have a child with Rett Syndrome and a seizure disorder, as well as, 2 other small children. Roscoe needs to be someplace where he gets more attention and exercise. He's a sweet boy and just needs more than our already stressed family can continue to manage. The vet said it would be difficult to find him a home because of his seizures and we should consider euthanasia, but we have to try to find this beautiful animal a new and loving situation. We do not want any compensation for him, just a good home for a special boy. He is not neutered yet due to the seizures. He is good with some dogs, but he'd probably do best on acreage where he could run and play with possibly one other dog. He's not good with little kids as he wants to heard them and gets a bit nippy.
