wanted small breed dog

I am looking for a small breed dog around 1 year or a puppy just under a year. I am not interested in Pit Bulls. I will not pay breeder prices. I prefer female but will consider male. I am not looking for AKC registered. just a nice, mellow, mixed dog/puppy I will not breed it, UTD on shots a bonus thank you
