The Howard Center Arts Collective is in search of used mailboxes that we can use for an art installation this summer. If you have one that you are willing to donate, please connect with us and we will pick it up from your home. All shapes, sizes and colors are welcome! We plan to paint them. The theme of our art installation is Connections and how our approach to connecting with one another has evolved and changed over the decades, and centuries. The US mail service is older than our Constitution and was the only way families, businesses and communities communicated for many decades. Will the mail system soon fade into obscurity? Will it be replaced by email, text messages and snapchat? When was the last time you wrote a letter to a friend? Please help us make this installation a reality by contributing any used mailboxes you may have kept. Thank you!!
