A Brunch of Schitt$Heads
Prepare to Schitt yourself.
The pandemic has created many things; Zoom dating, work from home culture, face masks as conveniently placed ad space.
But, with the hit our restaurants have taken, arguably the best thing to come out of the pandemic is ETC Eatery’s seamless transition to Hop Capital Brewing!
Hop Capital Brewery was founded in Yakima, Washington and is thrilled to be expanding; starting a foot hold here in Portland, and by creating a brand new Hard Seltzer experience!
Hop Capital, it’s owner Johnathon Thomas and it’s creative director J. Webster, have created a delicious fruity Schitt’s Creek tribute Hard Seltzer! Using real, actual fruit puree, they combine fruit with sweet, sweet, alcohol to create a party in a can.
The cans have been called "instantly iconic" (PopSugar), a beautiful visual parody celebration of a show that's been a cultural phenomenon.
So now, we’re brunching partying people! In June, during Pride Month, we debuted the Moira and David-style cans at a comedy launch party at Local Lounge to rave reviews, and now we’re bringing you, Johnny and Alexis!
How? With a comedy variety show produced and hosted by Portland Queer Comedy Festival’s Belinda Carroll and Hop Capital’s J. Webster, this will be so good it’ll knock your carefully maintained wig off!
We have burlesque by Holli Dai, stand-up comedy with Chris Ettrick, Carlos Windham and Poly PopTart, plus live music by Complimentary Colors, and Belinda's new band, Mariah Didn’t Die!
VIP Tickets includes priority seating and a 16 oz can of one of our smoothie-style hard seltzers (Triply the Best, Sunrise Bebe, This is a Fine Muffin or Little Bit Alexis). Options are subject to availability.
Let's break out of this pandemic funk and funk it up with Hop Capital Brewing!
July 31st at Noon O Clock.
