Join us for a hour-long video/slide presentation about the role and responsibilities of a Court Appointed Special Advocate for abused and neglected children, and how to become one. There will be time for Q&A with a veteran CASA who'll answer your questions about what to expect in this unique rewarding volunteer role. We have began accepting applications for our Fall Training Class. We will provide light refreshments. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early as we will begin promptly at 10am! Where can I park?There is free 2 hour parking on the streets, most parking is free on weekends. However, please pay close attention to public parking lots and signs. CASA of Central Virginia (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to recruit, train and support volunteer advocates for abused and neglected children in the Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court system and to educate the community about the needs of these children.
