CreateTEENS: vibeCHECK Saturdays Calling all teens! Pop out at Creative Suitland this summer to experience dance workshops, learn about the music industry, practice mindfulness and poetry! Activities are designed for ages 13-19. vibeCHECK Saturdays will be held every Saturday from 12-1:00pm at Creative Suitland Arts Center (4719 Silver Hill Road, Suitland, MD 20746). Join us as we vibe, breathe, move, and check in with ourselves and each other. These sessions will be co-created with the teens involved as we use music, games, and other activities to introduce yoga and other wellness practices. Yoga mats will be provided for the first 10 teens to register. The weekly workshop series will be facilitated by Shannon Martin of Breathe & Bloom. This program is FREE for teens. Once eventbrite registration is complete, we will send the enrollment & emergency contact form to be returned via email or in-person. CreateTEENS is presented by Creative Suitland Arts Center and sponsored by the Arts and Cultural Heritage Division M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation.
