I currently had to let go of an employee. I need someone per diem/day by day/ to start, which has the possibility to evolve into part of full time depending on the situation. Unfortunately it's hard to schedule customers, without an employee hired, and it's hard to hire an employee with a specific schedule and set hours, because I can't schedule clients. It will start out with the clients I first schedule, and then hopefully scheduling more clients, and thus more hours, and then there are guaranteed jobs such as closings at the end of the season Pay: $15/hr + I'll cover the gas for where we drive from leaving the job yard (located in Peabody) until we get back to the yard in Peabody. | If we end up working a long period of time together, depending on how long, you can be eligible for up to two raises before end of the season. One half way through, one at the end before closings start. If you get both you can make out at $20/hr during closing season. If you miss one, your still eligible for the other. This is a pool company, and I handle most of the technical, electrical, equipment, plumbing, etc. As stated, the majority of the job is driving between locations: REQUIREMENTS: Must have a TRUCK or SUV - Transporting equipment/tools between job sites is a MAJOR part of this position. Must NOT have a problem with dogs - I have a PTSD service dog that I often bring with me during the day, rides in the car, watches us work outside. I have had 2 potential employees not take the position because they don't want my dog accompanying us. Must be RELIABLE - and COMMUNICATIVE - I am usually very easy going, and can be very generous, however, what I ask I don't think is much - that you communicate issues with days or times you can't work, etc, and we can work around that. NOT SHOWING/CALLING or CALLING OUT day of is unacceptable. Usually work is planned the day before - if there is an issue that allows for time to discuss with the customers what our plan is. JOB DUTIES: Helping load/unload equipment from yard, to job site, and vice-versa. Basic Pool Maintenance Duties - Vacuuming Pool, Adding Chemicals, Setting up Equipment - Most of this is just following directions: I'll tell you what to do what I'm doing something else, and you just need to do what I ask. The equipment consists of PVP Piping/ Pool Vacuum Hoses/Accessories - My tool sets, took box, tool bags/drill bag/hand tools/etc. A truck is preferred, however, it can, and has worked fine with an SUV.
