Sweetwater Lifestyles, a boutique style luxury boat club in Bonita Springs, Florida that features nearly 20 Robalo, Chapparal and other select brands of boats, along with a 3 boat commercial charter business, is looking for an experienced, full time Marine Technician/Mechanic. Interested candidates will possess a proven background of marine service and high mechanical/troubleshooting aptitude. Responsibilities and Requirements of the Marine Technician/Mechanic: • Self-motivated individual who can work independently with minimal supervision • Proficient in diagnostic outboard software • Ability to manage multiple tasks daily • Familiar with engine brands such as Mercury Marine, Yamaha and Suzuki. • Certified Yamaha, Mercury and/or Suzuki certified is preferred • Proven track record of marine service experience or equivalent • Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills • Provide accurate feedback to Parts and Service Manager • Efficient with marine rigging, plumbing, electrical systems, and general knowledge in electronics systems • Sense of humor and personality is a plus, as we are tight knit, family-oriented work culture This is a salaried, full time position for the right candidate that offers paid time off, health insurance and dental insurance.
