Warning! Chihuahua Mix Puppies! We adopted an 8 week old Chihuahua mix puppy on July 3 after responding to an ad on Craigslist. The person identified herself as Mariana and asked me to meet her at her friend’s house in E St in Blaine, WA. We brought the puppy home, and within 2 days she became very ill and we took her to emergency care. She was diagnosed with Parvovirus and subsequently we had to put her down on July 10. Mariana told me that the puppies had their first round of vaccinations. This was untrue. BEWARE!!! If you bought a chihuahua mix puppy from Mariana in Ferndale or Blaine, your puppy has been exposed to a deadly virus and needs immediate medical attention! Your dog may be fatally ill and highly contagious. PLEASE seek medical attention for your puppy now!
