There’s got to be SOME people in the area that have good taste in music? You like psychedelic, garage rock, punk and good old fashion rock n roll? I’m a rock n roll dinosaur in my mid 40’s, looking for other dinosaurs to play with. I play guitar as well as bass. I’m looking to find some like-minded music junkies that want to jam, write some original songs, play a few covers, record and play some good shows IN THE CITY, where weirdos like us are accepted ;)
No jobbers, this is for the love of music. Looking to practice once a week, would prefer a weeknight. I would love to play out once every month or two or if something specials comes up.
I live in the near southwest burbs, only a couple miles from the Chicago border. I don’t mind traveling into the city for practices or the near southwest and western burbs.
Would love to put together a weird rock band that’s like a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, but adding more psych/punk/garage influence.
