New gallery in Braddock Pa, opens its doors to the public. One month ago the artists of “The Ohringer” located in Braddock PA, opened its doors to the public to showcase our art to the community. We have had live performances, showcased beautiful art, and got to know our amazing community of Braddock. I am so proud of this space and would love for you to stop by and see all of our hard work in action. The Ohringer is a passionate grassroots art collective composed of over 30 dynamic creatives (painters, musicians, chefs, jewelry makers,and many more). Each member is dedicated to using art and community involvement as a catalyst for lasting change. The Ohringer was created with the intent of working closely with the 15104 community. We care about people first and want to make sure that as Braddock continues to improve the existing residents are the first to benefit. The Ohringer Creatives are a diverse group of artists reflective of Braddock’s long-standing diversity. As new energy is already coming to this important, historic community, we hope you decide to become an integral part of Braddock’s community-driven transformation by supporting our efforts. ABOUT OUR PROJECTS: The Ohringer M.A.D. (Making A Difference) Project Series: Braddock Night Out - Ohringer artist plan on projecting movies off of the building located adjacent to the Ohringer. The movie nights will feature local small business vendors, musical talent, and a variety of the Ohringer artist work to be sold on sight. The plan is to play movies that are family friendly and were filmed in Braddock, Pa and surrounding areas of Pittsburgh, Pa. The Healing Series - The Ohringer artist will host weekly and monthly health and wellness classes for the community. The objective of this series is to heal the community through art. The Ohringer Gallery & Retail space - This space will provide an indoor space for community events in addition to being a space where Ohringer artists can display their art. This space will not only help sell the community artist visual art but will also sell snacks and drinks from local vendors.
