Fun, easy, and excited sewing classes for age 8-18. Come learn how to make your own clothes maybe even revamp some of your fav. outfits Come join our kid sewing class! All sewing levels are welcome to attend! Each class we learn and enhance our sewing fundamentals like properly threading and operating our machine. Measurements, sewing terms, pattern construction and much more. Due to the pandemic and conference room availablity please check the date and time for specific project before signing up for the class. Some class projects are different for boys and girls. Short description on project and supplies is provided below. Saturday, June 26 th- Its a Tutu & Bow- Tie Party (Girls making TuTu Boys making Bow Tie) Supplies needed: Tutu 5-10yards of Tulle on the bolt and elastic Bow-tie 1 quarter- 1/2 yard of fabric preferrably cotton, interfacing, and some form of a faster (bow-tie set with hook or velco or snaps) Saturday, July 10th-Something 2 Carry This is optional A drawstring bag or girls can make a purse Supplies needed: Drawstring bag 1/2 yard of fabric and string Pures 1/2 yard of fabric, 1/2 yard of lining fabric, interfacing, closed bottom zipper atleast 16 in long Saturday, July 17th- Revamp Fashion Day Bring something old that you want to make new.... Supplies needed: Your item of clothing, complimentry fabric, decorative trims or notions you may want to used Ask about our July 26th-30th Arts & Crafting Camp. We teach how to work a sewing machine and numerous sewing techniques to create different clothing and accessories. Even though sewing classes are our main focus we also host many events.
