Heyday Farm is a sustainable and historic farm on Bainbridge Island, WA. At Heyday Farm we raise beef, broilers, pork, turkeys, and eggs for our CSA customers, Heyday Store, Bainbridge Farmers Market, Kitsap Fresh, on-line Meat Locker, and restaurants. This job contributes to Heyday Farm’s success by caring for our pasture animals including poultry, pigs and cattle with the utmost care and attention to cleanliness. This position will have a hand in all aspects of the animal husbandry. The positions main tasks include: egg harvesting and washing, keeping animal housing in proper working order, securing and maintaining fences, orchestrating animal movement on the farm, keeping feed and watering systems in good repair, monitoring the health and well-being of the animals and gaining skills in machinery repair and maintenance. Job is part time at $15.00 per hour
