STAMFORD, CT —The Stamford Fire Department is urging residents to stay home and avoid travel until after Tropical Storm Elsa has moved out of the area. The SFD tweeted Friday morning that they are experiencing a "very high incident volume" due to people being stranded in their cars on flooded roads. Storm update: Fire units continue to experience a very high incident volume presently.
