TUCSON, AZ — Police have arrested a person in connection with a fatal shooting in Tucson this week that left an 18-year-old man dead. Tucson police arrested 15-year-old Terrayne Newsome on a first-degree murder warrant in connection with the shooting death of 18-year-old Felix Alexandrew Pichardo. Newsome was found in a home in the 700 block of West Lightstar Circle and was taken and booked into Pima County Jail, police said. On July 7 just after 12:30 p.m. police were called to the 4100 block of East 29th Street after receiving a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, police said they found and rendered aid to Pichardo, who was taken to Banner University Medical Center where he later died. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
