Mission Kayak is looking to hire a shuttle driver for our weekend kayak trips. Hours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday 8am-6pm. Duties include: picking up shuttle van and trailer storage unit and driving to Espada Park. Checking people in for their kayaking trip, fitting them with life jackets giving safety briefing. Then driving them to the put-in, unloading all the required equipment for that trip and helping clients get the equipment down to the river. Once the trip is done you will meet the clients back at Espada Park and load the equipment back on the trailer. At the end of the day you will take the shuttle van and trailer back to the storage unit. (Parking is free at the storage unit) Job requirements: must be at least 21 with a valid drivers license and clean driving Record. Must have own realizable transportation To and from work. This is a great job for those who like the outdoors and have good people skills. This is a physically demanding job and an added perk is that the shuttle driver is often tipped by our clients.
