Whats up Charlotte! I have tried craigslist many times and had no luck. But this time I will try and put some love into this ad! My name is Mike, I have played guitar on and off for about 12 years, and I sing. I own guitars, a trusty tube amp, mics and some bedroom recording equipment with the DAW reaper. I enjoy noisy rock and grew up on bands like rise against, pixies, nirvana, classic rock all the good radio stuff. Lately I have found serious inspiration in bands like sad park, together pangea, parquet courts, perspective a lovely hand to hold and lots of other bands. I am 24, I’m not looking to be famous and I have a day job. I am easy going and don’t mesh well with people with egos. What I am looking to do, is arrange a practice spot (my apartment wouldn’t be a good spot for practice with drums.) and have a set schedule to work on some original quality music. Would love to learn some covers as well. I have not had the chance to network or make friends since covid happened and I only moved to the area a year and a half ago. I am looking to meet new friends and hopefully be part of the charlotte music community. Practice dates ideally would be maybe 2-3 times a week with productive sessions until we can secure gigs. Age is only a number but would prefer people in my age range. Lets meet up and discuss ideas over coffee/ a drink! / send some links!
