Early 30's, 20 years guitar experience, electric and acoustic, home studio, all pro gear. Former guitar teacher. Spent the last two years gigging throughout Hampton Roads with a group that just folded due to members moving; recorded and released one album. Experience gigging everything from hard rock groups to jazz duos. Hoping to link up with potential collaborators to start a new project or to join an existing project, hopefully to include songwriting, recording and releasing material, and gigging. Not a prolific songwriter, strength is editing and revising. Got material that needs work or songs that you just can't seem to finish or get right? I'm your guy. Let's chat if you are a: - Singer and/or songwriter - Drummer/percussionist - Bassist - Pianist - Violinist - Multi-instrumentalist of any type A few of the projects I'm interested in pursuing: - Singer/songwriter - Folk/Americana in the vein of Jason Isbell, Josh Ritter, John Moreland - 50's style originals and/or surf rock - Americana with an edge, a la The White Buffalo, The Devil Makes Three, Ian Noe, Lost Dog Street Band - R&B, Soul, classic or modern such as H.E.R., Michael Kiwanuka - Modern blues rock/metal, eg Witchcraft, Church of Misery, Elder Available for hire for studio/live work.
