What We're Looking For At Barsala, our shared mission is to consistently provide our guests with great accommodations. As a Housekeeper, you prepare the rooms for the arrival of new guests. Your work makes the first impression by which guests judge their stay. Your thoroughness and attention-to-detail play a pivotal role in creating great guest experiences. Objectives Achieve and maintain a cleanliness score of >= 9.0 based on guest post-stay surveys Communicate effectively with the Hospitality Manager and Head of Room Preparation Complete room preparation at a rate of at least one apartment per hour Requirements Must provide basic cleaning supplies Must maintain a cleanliness score of at least 8.0 at the end of each quarter to remain employed Must have a smart phone for receiving work assignments and marking work as complete Bring assistants/helpers as necessary to complete cleanings on busier days Responsibilities Monitor work assignments and communicate work completion in a timely fashion Use appropriate equipment and cleaning supplies for thorough cleaning and sanitization Prepare rooms for guest arrival according to Barsala standards, including stocking consumable supplies Communicate maintenance/repair needs promptly to the supervisor Maintain a clean and organized storage area Monitor personal performance using an online platform Compensation Housekeepers are paid on a per-unit basis Pay is based on the size of unit, with larger units paying a higher rate Paychecks are deposited twice a month
