National painting company located in Vancouver, WA is currently looking for an Experienced Estimator/Project Manager! Duties and Responsibilities: • Manage projects from start to finish • Perform take-offs and deliver submittals timely • Effectively manage crew and recommend resources for projects • Identify and perform project change orders • Communicate with customers, both new and existing • Attend project meetings and scope reviews • Procure material and equipment • Demonstrate ability to read and understand contracts, construction documents, and plans • Experienced in writing detailed scope proposals • Maintain project plans and job costing Qualifications, Education and Experience: • Strong Computer skills • Knowledgeable in commercial painting, blueprint reading, computer proficiency, estimating and sales • Ability to work independently • Monitor and control project through administrative direction of on-site foremen to ensure project is completed on schedule and within budget • Maintain customer relations to ensure customer satisfaction, quality of service and long-term relations with the company • Demonstrates prioritization, organization, time management and problem-solving skills • Detail-oriented, able to multi-task and excel in a fast paced environment to meet deadlines • Must be able to write detailed reports • Clean driving record needed Skills and abilities: • Familiarity with commercial painting and coating contractor • Excellent skills in both verbal and written communication • Self-motivated and a critical thinker • Attend walk-throughs and determine factors that will affect the cost estimate • Possess strong computer and mathematical skills and perform accurate analysis within deadlines • Previous painting experience a plus Experience Required: • Previous experience (2+ years) Estimating/Project Managing in Painting/Construction field APPLY - www.turmaninc.com - send a resume and brief description of your experience in response to this ad
