need help with miscellaneous things

Up until recently I have had someone who has performed a service in my life that seems trivial but has actually been very important to me. He l has helped me move stuff around that is heavier than I want to deal with. It has helped me a lot. Now, however, he is having health problems. He will always remain my friend, but I must find someone new to work for me. What I am looking for is someone I can call on periodically to carry or move around things that are heavier than I, as a 71 year old woman, want to deal with. I am not talking about anything that arduous. I am talking about moving boxes around the house, or taking things out to the curb or helping me get them to a nearby storage unit. Alternately I might want someone to work alongside me for an hour or two in the yard. My preference is to have a retired local person who just does odd jobs to pick up extra money. The problem with students is that before you can turn around they will finish and leave the area and then I will have to find someone else. I prefer establishing a more long term relationship with a permanent area resident. If you are interested, please write me and tell me about yourself.
