Description

We are looking for a building engineer to join our team. Will work with electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC, and water systems. Will work with contractors and must be available for emergencies 24/7. Responsibilities: Operation and maintenance of our HVAC systems Preventative maintenance on all equipment not covered by contracts Operation and maintenance of boiler and chiller Electrical work up to 480v 3 phase Pump repair and maintenance as needed Operation of electrical distribution system including switchgear and generators Maintenance & repair of plumbing systems including soldering, pipefitting, bathroom, and kitchen fixtures Maintenance of life safety systems including fire panel, suppression systems operation Troubleshooting and repairing both kitchen equipment and refrigeration systems Testing and maintaining hot and cold water treatment systems Working with pneumatic and electronic control systems Will maintain records including service reports, manuals, logs and blueprints Productively interfaces with contractors working on site Requirements: EPA certified to work with refrigerant Experience with welding including gas and electric Experience working with spec parts and/or replacements for equipment Computer skills including Windows, Microsoft Office and Building Automation System Must be available for emergencies 24/7 Philadelphia Class A Engineers license or equivalent a plus Located in the Philadelphia suburbs and offering a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid holidays, paid time off (PTO) and much more.
