Julia is a 24 years old German au pair. She is currently looking after 3 children - 4 year old twins and a 7 year old. She would love to find a new host family in S. California. Current Host Family's Comments Julia is the best! She takes care of our 3 children and is truly part of our family. She is patient and kind with our kids, and is proactive about fun projects and going on excursions with them. She pays close attention to safety protocols, especially given COVID, and has always respected our wishes. While at work, we have no worries that our children are well cared for! Additionally, her English is exceptional. Julia helps in the morning with breakfast and school drop offs and pick ups. She drives the kids to activities and often takes them to meet friends for playdates. She washes, dries, and puts away the kids' laundry. Julia often cooks lunch for the kids and sometimes dinner for the whole family. She will often help the kids with their homework and activities books. Julia is open, honest, and dependable. She is always on time to start the day and is very reliable, even when schedules change as happens sometimes with kids. She has great communication skills and is able to manage 3 children with ease. She also enjoys contributing to the family, cooking, and the outdoors. Our childcare needs will be changing in the fall, otherwise we would love to keep her onboard! Infant and Adult CPR trained Speaks fluent English Experienced driver Loves music - plays the piano and flute Enjoys jogging, swimming, biking, football, basketball and badminton Loves arts and crafts This is a full-time, live-in position: 45 hours per week, just over $9 per hour (per family, not per child) Au pairs can also do light housekeeping, laundry, and cooking related to the children.
