We are a General Contractor seeing Mechanic's Helper to assist in mechanical duties from heavy equipment to fleet trucks. Must be able to drive a flatbed. CDL not required. DOT Physical will be conducted Tasks: Assist in performing routine maintenance to ensure the equipment is kept at manufacturer's specifications. Follow a company designed task list making adjustments, minor repairs, pulling oil samples, etc. Assist and communicate with Lead Mechanic to discuss repairs and maintenance needs. Disassemble and assemble equipment using mechanic's handtools. Requirements: - Must have good work ethic and positive attitude - Must have valid drivers license - Good communication and time management skills in performing maintenance. Must be able to work as a team member as well as alone. Physical Requirements: - Ability to walk over uneven terrain, operate service truck, drive flat bed, use handheld tools, wear PPE, follow safety procedures, climb on, around, and under equipment -Work in an open shop and in extreme outdoor environment inspecting vehicles and equipment from both underneath and from above
