Join us for an late afternoon of informal networking and hear from local historian, Kevin Rose. Kevin Rose, Historian & Director of Revitalization for The Turner Foundation, will join us at The Buckeye Sports Lodge for an adult beverage and will guide us on a "rooftop" tour of downtown. From the back patio of the Buckeye Sports Lodge you can see many historical buildings and sites of downtown - so while we sip on a beverage and enjoy appetizers, Kevin will regale us with facts and stories of the rich history of downtown Springfield. (You may have attended one of our first recruiting events a few years ago at Buckeye Sports Lodge that featured this topic and Kevin Rose - this is that event but it's "Take 2" because we're thinking it won't be 30 degrees this time!) BONUS: Going forward, members of YP will receive a drink ticket for one free drink (beer, wine or soda) at evening socials!
