You are invited to laugh until it helps! Join us for a night of food, fellowship, and good clean fun! ULL / Atchafalaya Ball Room Music at 12pm and Comedy at 1pm Dear Friends, What begun in 1992 as a Fundraiser for the Lafayette Catholic Service Center, Cajun Comic Relief has become one Acadiana's most successful and enduring charity events. Over the past 27 years, CCR has raised more than $1.2 Million for local non-profit organizations. Other Beneficiaries have included; Goodwill Industries and Down Syndrome Association of Acadiana. For this show; CCR will donate all profits to Acadiana's local "Education Destination"; which is a nonprofit K-12 center fostering a positive academic, and social learning environment for students with learning disabilities . (https://educationdestination.org/) Due to the Corona Virus pandemic, we were unable to have a show in 2020. It was a rough year, and everyone in Acadiana needs a laugh! As always, this will be a good, clean, PG13 comedy show. Please come out and join us in supporting such a wonderful cause! Line up, and Bios below: Sam Joubert Sam is a vocal impressionist/comedian. He has performed in such places as Las Vegas, television, radio, a cruise ship, comedy clubs, churches, charities, the Governor, and many other venues. With his unique abilities, Sam finds it difficult to not pull pranks on friends and coworkers. Sometimes while driving, he turns his radio off and enjoys the company of many of his celebrity friends. This gets a little awkward at red lights! . Sam has been called "The Man of a thousand voices". Barry Primo Born and Raised in Crowley, Barry Primo became interested in magic at 7 years old when he watched a Harry Houdini movie. Barry is available for theater performances, school functions, corporate events, as well as birthday parties and restaurant magic. His performances are a combo of magic, illusions with a twist of comedy. http://www.barryprimomagician.com/index.html Marvin Lee Life can be interesting growing up in a bi-racial household in the Deep South, but also full of laughs. With the exception of Asian, he has been mistaken for every minority living in the U.S. to the final conclusion of "What are you"? "Hilarious". That is the answer. Marvin Lee has appeared on AMC's The Walking Dead f/ season 5, Marvel's Ant-Man, DC's Black Adam (2022), Spiderman 3 (2022), HBOs Watchman, Fast and Furious 8, Goose Bumps 2, Hunger Games/ Mocking Jay Pt2.
