SMASHFEST® BRINGS NHL PLAYERS & GUESTS TOGETHER FOR A NIGHT OF PING PONG & FUN IN SUPPORT OF RARE CANCER & CONCUSSION RESEARCH Smashfest® is headed to Connecticut! An event like no other, Smashfest turns fans into friends, giving guests a one-of-a-kind experience with NHL stars and other celebrities. Attendees can compete in the Smashfest Pro-Am Doubles Tournament, cheer on their favorite player in the Smashfest Singles Tournament, and enjoy face to face interactions and conversations with players throughout the evening. The Smashfest Pass gives you access to the event which includes: face to face interaction with NHL players throughout the nightcatered buffet from a world class chefunlimited drinks (open bar for 21+, mocktails for kids)live silent auction with one-of-a-kind itemsraffle prizes and moreExcited to play ping pong? Guests are invited to participate in our Smashfest Doubles Pro-Am Tournament. Each team features an NHL player or celebrity and three guests. Teams compete against each other in a round robin format followed by semi-final and final rounds. Compete for the prize, but more importantly, the Smashfest title! There are 2 ways to participate: (1) Direct Entry: at check-out, you can select the direct entry add on. Purchase of this ticket guarantees your spot on a Double's Pro-Am team. (2) Lottery Entry: at checkout, you can select the lottery add on. This option puts your name into a hat where winners will be drawn at the beginning of the event to compete in the Pro-Am. The Causes Smashfest is a charity event that supports rare cancer and concussion research. Both cancer research and concussion research face similar obstacles as they are hindered by scattered and scarce data, limited resources, and a lack of information-sharing. Smashfest proudly supports collaborative research for both of these causes as we look to accelerate the pace of discovery. Location Smashfest will take place at the The Village - Stamford's newest waterfront destination (4 Star Point Stamford, CT 06902). The Village is situated in the Harbor Point neighborhood, a quarter mile from I-95 and walkable to/from the Stamford Metro-North Station - a quick 49 minute express train from New York City. For drivers, parking is available on site. Smashfest is a mix of indoor and outdoor mingling, with Ping-Pong tables set up in the venue and on the waterfront patio. COVID-19 Policy Smashfest requests that all guests who have not been fully vaccinated wear a mask at all times. If you have COVID-19 symptoms or have come in contact with someone who has COVID-19 we ask that you do not attend the event. Please email [email protected] to discuss a potential refund. Refunds will be granted for those with proof of a positive COVID-19 test. Frequently Asked Questions How old do you have to be to attend Smashfest? Smashfest Connecticut is a 13+ event. Is Smashfest an open bar event? Guests who are 21+ will have access to an open bar. Since the event is open to people under the age of 21, we ask that you bring your ID. Guests will be given a wristband that shows they are legal drinking age. Can I pick which NHL player I play with? Smashfest features an auction at the beginning of the night where guests have the opportunity to bid for the top 3 choices in the draft. Which NHL Players will be at the event? What is the event dress code? Smashfest is a casual event. Do you take cash for auction items? The silent auction is entirely digital. This means that all items are purchased through card.
