Part-time/Full-time The Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, and folding, as well as keeping wrinkle-free all hotel terry, linen, staff uniforms, and cleaning materials as required by the hotel standards. Primary Duties and Accountabilities: • Requesting Vacant Room List from Housekeeping Manager • Collecting dirty terry and linen from hotel guestrooms. • Sorting terry and linen and loading washers as per manufacturer’s instructions. • Spot treating any terry or linen with chemicals provided by the Housekeeping Manager. • When the washing cycle is complete, transferring laundry in the dryers as per manufacturer’s instructions and setting dry cycles. • Folding all terry and linen, sorting, and organizing based on size and type. • Restocking housekeeping cars with appropriate amounts of terry and linen. • Ensuring all housekeeping uniforms are washed, dried and folded, ready for the following day. • Assist house attendant and room attendant whenever necessary. • Report any laundry equipment problems to the Chief Engineer. • Prepare work area for next shift.
