You are cordially invited to join us as we celebrate the grand opening of the Traci & Curtis Samford Geosciences Career Center! You are cordially invited to join us as we celebrate the opening of the Geosciences Career Center - an ambitious goal and remarkable achievement - and made possible because of the incredible generousity of Traci '11 & Curtis '83 Samford. The ribbon cutting will take place at 12:00 p.m. on the first floor of the O&M Building and lunch will be served in the Dean's Suite at 1:00 p.m. The annual GeosFEST, where we welcome back all of the students and faculty for the start of the Fall Semester, will be going on the O&M lawn. That event starts at 11:00 a.m. and features a food truck, snow cones, and a showcase of student organizations. If your time allows, please come early! The College of Geosciences boldly embraces the call to serve the citizens of the state, nation, and world. Aggie Geoscientists lead by example in addressing the most critical challenges facing society – access to clean water and air, natural disaster resiliency and preparation, securing energy resources, preventing the spread of disease and ensuring adequate food supplies for all global citizens.
