Description
**These are meant to be pet rats. If you'd like to spend the money on domesticated, extremely docile rats for snake food, then be my guest (feeder rats are $5-15 and are raised in very untidy environments and are rarely handled)**
****As of July 9, I have 3 fancy males and 2 girls (1 fancy/1 dumbo) from the from the April 21st litter. They are still quite small****
New litter of baby rats. Not too sure what they will look like just yet. Hoping there will be dumbos in this litter (mom is a dumbo, dad is a fancy).
They will be ready mid-May
As soon as they leave the house inside the cage, I start handling and playing with them. They get handled a lot by my child too.
They will be "used" to baths and will get one every week.
I also have 2 big dogs and 2 cats that are always present. My pet rats like the dogs and the dogs love them. The cats just sit outside the cage and try to grab a tail but the rats fend for themselves and also get a bite in with a cat tail when it enters the cage.
