Job Overview: Installs product with the utmost quality and focus on Customer satisfaction. Represents the Company in a professional manner to all Customers. Complies with all Company policies, procedures and work instructions. Performs work in a safe manner and complies with all safety requirements. Performs misc. assignments as given by management. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Installs mechanical railing & gates and welded aluminum products such as grab rails, spiral staircases, interior and exterior railings, gates, shutters, window grilles, belly rails, trellis's and carports. Asks supervisor or measure and layout for clarification on drawings or fabrication methods and requirements Core drills into concrete and tile to set posts. Set posts in concrete or mounts railing by attaching foot plates or mounting brackets. Levels off concrete for good visual appearance. Focus on eliminating concrete sludge on items and property. Cleans up concrete sludge immediate before drying. Dig holes to install railings or whenever required. Fills up and levels off holes when complete. Caulks all required areas neatly and smoothly-wipes off excess caulk Ensures tap cons and fasteners are straight and secure. Makes necessary alterations on jobsite if necessary Visually checks product and install for quality of job Ensures gates are adjusted and hardware installed properly. Ensures gates/doors open and close properly and do not bind on frame or deck surface. Installs product to the requirements on assigned work orders. Asks their Supervisor questions if unsure of a requirement Ensures all components, materials and supplies are taken to the jobsite to complete the work and posts permits when required. Returns all unused materials to the warehouse after each job. Keeping trucks maintained, clean, organized and washed weekly. Notifies appropriate personnel of needed repairs Performs repairs or punch lists on jobs the employee installed and or services, when assigned. Responsible to maintain all assigned tools in clean safe working order. Tools must be cleaned and put back into storage containers-cases after each use. Tools must be returned to shop storage areas clean. Leaves job sites clean and immaculate on a DAILY basis. Keeps jobsites and Liberty shop and grounds area neat, clean, organized and safe at all times. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: Able to work at elevated heights. Able to climb, work safely on ladders, lifts, walk boards and maintain balance while working at elevated heights. May be required to work in high lifts Able to work in the Florida outdoor environment. Need to bend, squat, kneel and lift throughout the day. May be required to drive and operate a motor vehicle safely throughout the day Good knowledge of hand tools and how to operate them such as saws, drills, tape measures & levels.
