July 22nd is known as “Mary Magdalene’s Day” as this was the day she was finally acknowledged by the Catholic Church as a disciple and prominent player in the teachings of Jesus (as opposed to previous stories where she is demonized as a woman solely connected to pleasure and seduction). We will be honoring her spirit, her wisdom and her teachings together by connecting more deeply to our bodies and our sensuality through creative expression.
