Called the “Redneck Jeff Beck” by The Village Voice, a “funky mix of Jeff Beck and Chet Atkins” by Rust Magazine, "A cross between Santana & Metheny, with a touch of Duane Allman" - Los Angeles Times, and “Claptonesque” by The San Diego Troubadour, acclaimed performer and ace studio guitarist Joe Taylor continues to delight audiences across the country with his fiery, groove-laden shows. Joe has worked both as guitarist and producer with everyone from Ahmet Ertegun to Dave Koz.... Al B. Sure to Donna Summer, Jeff Franzel, Randall Bramblett, & several blossoming regional artists! Joining him will be renowned percussionist Tony "Thunder" Smith who is the chair of the percussion department at the Berklee School of Music, his credits include Santana, Jan Hammer Group w/ Jeff Beck, & Lou Reed. Also joining them will be well-known bassist Brian Stanley whose credits include working with The Beach Boys, The Kinks, Bryan Adams, Loudon Wainwright III, The Waterboys/Mike Scott, Garland Jeffreys, Tommy Shaw, Willie Nile, Jules Shear, Tommy Shaw, Ian McDonald (musician) and GE Smith among many others.
