WANTED: I am a professional vocalist (age 30) looking for a lead guitarist to join me in releasing professional-grade music in various genres including metal, pop, bluegrass, and acoustic sessions. My only goal is to have fun, focus on artistic-expression, and release commercial-grade content. I am looking for someone proficient enough to play classical guitar and music from bands like Dance Gavin Dance or Polyphia. The more technical the music you can play and write, the better. Playing mandolin and banjo is a plus. LOCATIONS: I am located in both Fairfax, VA and out near Winchester, VA. RESPONSIBILITIES: Have necessary gear, transportation, the income to afford the cruel mistress of music, time to learn previously written material for live radio appearances/festival shows, and write/record guitar melodies. HOW YOU GET PAID: Royalties are split according to monetary contributions per song regarding album art, audio engineering, and music videos. If you don't like a song but still want to help write it, I will pay you and buy your material from you. I am responsible for all marketing and promotional expenses, until we find an investor or a backing label. HOW I WRITE MUSIC: Up to this point, I typically purchase instrumentals and hire a producer to assist with song creation, which has made everything significantly easier and avoids hassle with fellow performers. However, I would like to creatively expand into bringing like-minded individuals into my writing process and grow as a musician. ABOUT THE VOCALIST: ​Corrington has collaborated with nationally touring musicians in bands such as The Color Morale with Fearless Records, Sycamour with Hopeless Records, Darkness Divided with Victory Records, & Dayseeker with Invogue Records/Spinefarm Records.
