The Alamo-Lafayette Cemetery District is a Public Cemetery and Independent Special District of the State of California. Our Cemeteries are over 150 years old and have a park like setting that is rich in local history. Primary employment consists of being outdoors, landscaping our beautiful and historical grounds. We are currently looking for a Landscape Supervisor with a minimum of 2 + years landscape experience. Excavation would be a plus. This is a full-time and benefited position. We offer competitive pay – between $26 - $30 per hour DOE, medical, dental, vacation, and retirement upon completion of a probationary period. REQUIREMENTS: Must pass a drug test, physical and background check Must be able to lift 50 pounds Must have knowledge of hand and power tools Must be able to work independently or with a small crew Must have a Valid Driver's License Must be able to train new crew members on proper use of tools, power equipment, landscaping, and safety. This position is Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Occasional weekend and/or holiday work is required paid at double and triple time. References required.
