Janitor position at SVDP School. SVDP School is looking for a full-time (37.5 hours a week) janitor/custodian to maintain and clean the facilities. The goal is to keep the facilities clean and orderly. Responsibilities • Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc...) • Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities • Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects • Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs • Make adjustments and minor repairs • Stock and maintain supply rooms • Cooperate with the rest of the staff • Follow all health and safety regulations requirements • Proven working experience as a janitor • Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies • Familiarity with material safety data sheets • Integrity and ability to work independently • High school diploma is not required. This is a full time job, 7.5 hours a day, Monday through Friday from 10AM to 6PM (or when needed). Hourly rate: $20 an hour Please send resume to: Marguerite Pini, Principal
