SHREWSBURY, MA — Massachusetts State Police are warning people to expect major delays on Route 290 westbound, right before the Lake Quinsigamond bridge in Shrewsbury. Police say the tractor-trailer broke through the median guardrail when it jackknifed and now it is blocking the left and middle travel lanes. The Massachusetts Department of Transportation and a heavy-duty tow truck are currently on the scene.
