Join The Afro Trek Tribe at the West Beach Indiana Sand Dunes in historic Gary, Indiana. Here you can climb stairs leading to killer views of the dunes and Chicago lakefront. After the hike, we will chill on the beach and unwind. Please bring a blanket to sit on and snacks. Parking is available, the cost is $6 for entrance. Please stay on the trail and respect closed area signs. Going off-trail damages fragile habitats. Ticks are present year-round. Take precautionary measures to prevent bites. Poison ivy can be present on the edges of the parking lot and on the trails. Where: 376 North County Line Road, Gary, IN 46403.
