We are hosting a Nonpartisan Candidate Forum for the City of Dearborn Mayoral Candidates. It is that time of the year again where ACCESS strives to educate and engage voters in the local elections that will be taking place in Dearborn on August 3, 2021 In an effort towards further engaging our community and generating awareness, ACCESS, in collaboration with our partners, are delighted to announce that we will be hosting a Mayoral Candidate Forum on July 19th at 6:00 PM at the Arab American National Museum. This Nonpartisan Candidate Forum is a launchpad education on fulfilling one’s civic duty. The forum will allow for a dispersal of knowledge from different candidates, thereby promoting civic engagement in a truly non-partisan way. Candidates will share their viewpoints with attendees from the wider community on different issues and topics. About The National Network for Arab American Communities The National Network for Arab American Communities (NNAAC), an institution of ACCESS, is a growing network of independent Arab American community-based organizations around the country. Established in 2004, NNAAC currently has 27 members in 12 states. The strength of these member organizations is built around the grassroots constituencies they serve through a range of programs, outreach and advocacy. NNAAC’s primary mission is to build the capacity of Arab American nonprofit organizations that focus on the needs and issues impacting their local community while collectively addressing those issues nationally.
