Description
OAK CREEK, WI — Tree-Ripe Fruit Co. will be making its stops all around the Milwaukee metro area, including Oak Creek next week.
Tree-Ripe Fruit Co. regularly makes trips down to Georgia for its seasonal peaches, the company website said. Tree-Ripe Fruit Co. then brings those peaches, as well as some other fruits, up to the Milwaukee area and sells them at temporary fruit stands across the region.
Alongside the peaches, the company will also have pecans from Georgia, pistachios from New Mexico and blueberries from Michigan available, according to the Tree-Ripe Fruit Co. website.
The business has been in one family for three generations for over 30 years. The company's founder set out to compete with supermarkets in Wisconsin by bringing higher quality peaches up from the south, according to the company's bio on its website.
The company's mission is to seek out the best fruit from around the country and to make that fruit available within only a few days of harvest.
