We at Washington Restorer, go above and beyond to serve our customers. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team and help us serve those in need. An ideal individual would have a positive attitude towards work, be well-groomed, have good communication skills, and be ready to take on any job that comes in in the water mitigation industry. A lead technician would be responsible to meet customers at their residence, prepare and complete necessary documents, communicate well with all parties involved, and perform work per IICRC / S-500 / S-520 standards. Services that we provide include demolition, crawlspace cleanup, mold remediation, sewer extraction, clean water extraction. The duties of a qualified person for this position are outlined below. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour (DOE) Duties: • Respond to jobs and initiate water mitigation according to IICRC standards. • Prepare affected areas for work activities which includes setting up staging areas and equipment. • Perform demolition and maintain a clean and safe working environment. • Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls, and removing debris. • Set drying equipment and complete moisture mapping. • Always demonstrate our company values. • Ability to work in confined spaces, such as crawlspaces and attics. • Mold remediation • Daily communication of work performed reported to our customers and Project Manager. • Maintain a neat and orderly work site and obey all safety rules and regulations to prevent work hazards. • Maintain work truck in a clean and organized fashion; ensuring it is stocked with the equipment and supplies necessary to perform all work required at designated job sites. Requirements: • IICRC Certifications (Preferred) • Experience in the Water Mitigation field preferred but not required. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment. • Must be able to use basic hand tools, such as a screwdriver, wrench, hammer, crowbar, and power tools. • Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, lift up to 50 pounds unassisted, stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, stoop, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb, and balance. • Must be able to perform each task wearing all the required PPE devices, including full and half-face respirators, Tyvek suit, eye protection, and gloves. • Must be able to complete assigned tasks in an efficient and timely manner. • Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record, as well as reliable transportation. • Must be able to pass a drug screening. • Must be willing to learn new tasks. • Must be available to work overtime and weekends and participate in the on-call rotation for emergency after-hours calls. • Excellent customer service skills. • Good with technology.
