Description

Learn more about being inclusive and gain understanding of the LGBT+ community Distinguish the differences between the following concepts: Gender identity, Gender expression, Gender assigned at birth and, Sexual orientation. Learn about Spectrums and how to utilize proper grammatical gender. The LGBT Center of Greater Reading is registered as a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organizatioin.  We provide the following services for the LGBT community and our allies:  (6) Support/Social  groups, Professional Training on LGBTQ+ issues, Reference & Referral,  and advocacy.  We have a clothing closet, toiletry closet and food pantry available to those in need.  We have a lending library available and host social events throughout the year to promote fellowship within the comunity.
