DESTIN HOOD SUMMER CLASSIC Camp is more than just a summer buzz word, it should be an experience for our kids to remember long after summer ends! *Please note when selecting date 7/21 to purchase ticket, this covers the duration of camp which includes 7/21 AND 7/22.* ENTER: Summer Classic on July 21-22, a two day event of baseball and fun for all players ages 8-13. Our camp experience will run from 9am-12pm. Event price includes both days of baseball camp, lunch & T-shirt! DROP OFF: First things first for our parents & families-coffee! When bringing your player, enjoy coffee and breakfast treat. Check in and arrival will be from 8:15 am-8:45 both days of camp. Parents should provide any necessary information for staff to know, regarding player at that time. ON THE SCHEDULE: Players will enjoy various position specific drills, practice games, teamwork, Q&A, and fun in the sun. PLEASE PROVIDE: Make sure to send your player with WATER, sunscreen, (a mask IF desired), ball bag and their mess approved clothes & towel-think summer water fun plus practice on a field! LUNCH: Fueling up after a day putting in work is important so BOTH days we will be providing lunches for our campers so they don’t go home hungry! *only water will be provided for lunch and by signing up, you agree to disclose any allergies or food intolerances prior to attending camp-safety is our priority! PICK UP: The jam packed day will end by 12 pm sharp. Exclusive t-shirts will be given out following our Q&A on the second day of camp, 7/22. *If you are unable to make both days, the camp fees will still apply, however let us know so we can arrange to get you a T-Shirt so you don’t miss out!* THE GOAL: Our players will leave with a brand new or refined skill set, more motivation & confidence, plus great memories. We will be following current group size guidance, enhanced cleaning, and staffing patterns that minimize movement of staff between groups of children throughout the day. Masks can be worn if a player chooses & will also be provided upon arrival if needed and sanitization used throughout. Weather: in the event of inclement weather, we will make a decision with the safety of all staff and players as priority to complete camp indoors or head home early.
